Cleaning

The house has been fully cleaned and with special attention paid to prevent coronavirus. If there is anything out of order, please notify us immediately. Cleaning products and hand sanitizer are provided in case guests would like to personally perform additional cleaning. Please leave the home neat and free of rubbish on your departure. If a greater cleaning service is required following your stay, then an extra fee will be charged.

Parking

There are two parking spaces (marked Bos & Zee) included with the rental. Additional parking is not available. Please show consideration to other vehicles in the park.

Occupancy

The maximum property capacity is 4 people; no unregistered guests are allowed. No extra adult or children as overnight visitors. This is a family oriented and child friendly home, however children and infants must be under active supervision by a parent or guardian at all times.  All responsibility and duty of care for them must be provided by you, including their personal equipment and needs. 

Security and Safety

Please keep your belongings and the entire home safe and secure by closing and locking all the doors and windows before leaving the property.  For fire prevention and safety - please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day.

During your stay

• Smoking is not allowed inside. This includes tobacco and vaping/e-cigarettes. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains may be applied. Cigarette butts from outdoor smoking must be extinguished safely and disposed of properly.

• Keep noise to a minimum after 22.00, and during all hours please be respectful of our neighbors.

• No pets are allowed.

• No parties or events, and no illegal activity or inappropriate anti-social behavior. If guests are found to have had a party which results in extra cleaning, an extra cleaning charge of €250 will apply and guests will be asked to vacate the property immediately. If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and guests will be asked to vacate the property immediately.

• Garbage must be disposed of in the trash bin and carried out to the waste container regularly to prevent ants. If you wish to recycle, glass and plastic can be brought to the recycling bins located in the Jumbo parking lot.

• Please use the dishwasher on the highest temperature to wash your dishes after use. 

• Please enjoy your meals at the dining table or on the terrace. This helps to prevent attracting insects or accidental stains on furniture, bedding or carpets.

• Make sure to turn off the lights and any electronics when you leave the house to help us conserve energy.

• Please report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner.

• Please do not rearrange the indoor furniture or outdoor lounge set.

• Laundry: There is a washing machine available for the use of registered guests, and a clothes drying rack in the bike shed. Excessive water usage may incur an extra charge. Guests should provide their own laundry detergent.

• Terrace: Guests have full access to the terrace and all the outdoor furniture, beach chairs, bikes and other equipment in the bike shed. Please be sure to store all the cushions in the shed each night and whenever it is raining. The umbrella should be closed during windy weather. The hardwood lounge set should not be moved from its location.

• Bikes: There are three adult size bikes for guest use at their own risk. There is a tire patch kit for guest use, but we are not responsible for maintenance. You may wish to rent bicycles for longer rides - the free bikes are useful for quick trips around the village or to the shops.

• Barbecue: Please clean the grill after use with the wire brush provided. The coals should be disposed of in the zinc bucket next to the barbecue. If the barbecue equipment is found dirty and requires extra cleaning, a fee of €50 may be applied.

Checkout

• Please leave the house tidy and ensure that everything is in order at the end of your stay.

• All household trash must be disposed of in the bin near the park entrance. 

• Used bed and bath linens may be left in the shower cabin for the cleaners. 

• Please turn on the dishwasher with any last dishes to be cleaned.

• On the morning of your check out, please open the windows in the living room and bedrooms to allow fresh air circulation which will help the cleaners prepare for the next guests. 

• Be sure that you have reported any broken items or damages that have occurred during your stay. If the cost of the damage is excessive, the costs will be billed directly.

• Keys will be picked up in person unless previous arrangements have been made.

In Case of Emergency

There is a first aid kit in the blue lockers (living room) in the bottom bin. Please let us know if this is used so we can replenish it.
